This is a gapfiller for A Geometry of Shadows/A Distant Star, rated G, ~2000 words. It is an attempt to fill in some background, and (mostly? totally?) out of my own head. Inspired partly by the quote that starts the story; which is John and Susan talking at the end of A Distant Star. Further inspiration from
nolivingman , from some time or another when we were talking Drazi. The link goes to my journal.
Quotations used at the end of the story are by Alexander Pope (Susan's) and Louis Pasteur (Delenn's). Please don't ask me why the Minbari have a traditional proverb originally said by Louis Pasteur. Blame Valen if you must have an explanation.
