Day 7 - Favorite episode

MY favorite episode is Sleeping in Light - and I can hardly bear to watch it.

I am a sap for a sad story, but this story isn't really sad. It's just that, as Tony Stark said in Endgame: Part of the journey is the end.

For John, this is the end. He got his extra 20 years and the time has come to say goodbye. I cry just thinking about it.

There are very personal reasons this episode tears at my heart as well.

Same, and this episode is part of my mourning process whenever some person or animal I care about dies. (I've never been able to grieve during traditional funerals.)

In 2005, my 16 year old daughter went out with a friend on a sunday afternoon drive and I never saw her alive again... so even the Sunday part gets to me.

Sleeping In Light is definitely one of the most perfect series finale episodes I have ever seen for any series.

This moment gets to me of course but there is at least one other that gets me too and I an going to probably talk about it at least a little on my day :-)
