B5 loving this September - sign-ups now open!

Due to the surprising busyness of my summer (and the fact that I spent the last three weeks mostly offline), the third annual Babylon 5 love month will be taking place a bit later than usual, namely in September. But I hope that there will be enough people wanting to participate even with a bit shorter notice than last year.

What is babylon5_love? It's a month-long multimedia celebration of all things Babylon 5, a community where everyone picks a day to post something related to B5 or Crusade. Any pairing, any character, any media.

The previous years have generated 25 icon posts, 11 pieces of fanart, 11 other kinds of graphics posts, 33 fics, 4 fanvids, 2 essays and 9 miscellaneous contributions, including filks and two songs.

This years dates:
Sign Ups start: now
Posting starts: September 8th, 2008
Posting ends: October 7th, 2008

How To Sign Up

1) Just comment to this post with the following:

Name:
Email:
Preferred posting date:
2nd Preferred posting date: (in case your first choice is already taken)
What kind of thing will you do?: (graphics/manip/icons? drabble? fic? meta?)
Would you be able to do short-notice backups if someone drops out?

2) You will be notified to confirm your day (or your backup day). Make sure you join the community so that you can be given posting rights.

3) Go forth and create.

4) Post on the day you have been assigned.
