I'm going to ask in advance your forgiveness for the bad English. I had not write in a looong time. I was aiming for something more long but I hate google translate and I was having a hard time thinking in english.

It was a good day. He would see the ambassador. She had a so very appealing exotic beauty, but most important an intoxicating personality. The irony didn’t scape him. He was so eager to not like the minbari. But the truth was that he was looking an excuse for not thinking about the paradoxical feeling he had for been the infamous Starkiller and liking so much the company of the minbari ambassador. He thought he would die and would never understand minbaris. And here he was, receiving, of all people in the universe, a personalized education about minbari’s customs from a High rank minbari herself.

This situation put him at a different perspective about life. It had helped him understand that beings are more than the culture they are from, and that none had a single history.

He couldn’t judge an entire culture based on a single event. War make things black and white, good and wrong. And things where more colorful than that. He was grateful he was given the opportunity to be taught that.

He definitively was not prepared for the profound admiration he was starting to feel about the minbari ambassador but the feeling was really welcome. It was refreshing…and it was a little inappropriate, considering the bias he was having in favor of the minbaris…yeap, the irony…

-Good day captain.

-Good day indeed ambassador-replayed him with a broad smiled in his mouth that light up a smile on hers (and some blush…maybe…).

-I found the meeting we had in the restaurant really…enlightening, said Delenn.

-Indeed, said Sheridan feeling that enlighten was not the description of what he felt.

-And I was hoping we could organize another appointment-She preceded- and the sooner the better…well…what I was trying to say, it is better to meet sooner because the knowledge is still fresh…

He laughed -Don’t worry ambassador, I agree with you that the sooner the better- said Sheridan with a sweet smile and his deep blue eyes over her. He saw the colors building up from the neck to the cheeks of the ambassador and trying to lighten the poor woman said “Let’s agree on something ambassador, I’m totally aware that we could have cultural barriers and misunderstandings. I would always believe that you meant no harm what so ever for me, so I would interpret whatever you said the better ways possible. You compromise in here is to stay truthful to what I believe -. Sheridan then lighted up the smile and she seems almost touched and said “It’s a promise then”.

-Would you like to meet tonight then?

-I would love to- said Delenn with an almost luring smile.

Sheridan then realized he was flirting with the ambassador and he was almost certain that she was flirting back…and he was ok with that.

They agreed to meet at least once per week to “learn more about each other”. And every day Sheridan knew was a “meeting day” he though for himself “it's going to be a good day”.

I cannot express you how annoying is to have to go to google translate to check for word in the middle of a thinking process...But I really want that this fangroup continue, always made my day...so thanks again.

You don't read a whole lot about John's inevitable conflict with his attraction to a Minbari; a couple of throwaway lines and the obvious (and annoying) restraint the two of them showed throughout their courtship. You've dealt with it well here.

Thanks, really. I was planning on making an even more profound analysis about that...but English happen ;'(. I realized I really used to read in English but I’m really out of shape in the writing part...*sigh* well one have to start one day :P...I was afraid that I would get "lost in translation"....but my husband do the grammar checking...and yes, sometimes I feel like you don't hear much about Sheridan conflict.

Side history, I was really in to making it really accurate and was reading the lurker guide and re watching some episode...when I realized Sheridan had BROWN eyes...I was so ashamed...I don't know why I always believed he had blue eyes..

I think Sheridan (Boxleitner) has hazel eyes, a mix of brown and green which can vary with the clothes you're wearing and the lighting. His eyes, as well as Delenn's and Susan's certainly show as different colors in different situations. So you're not wrong, besides, half the fic I read refers to his eyes as blue!

If you ever need another eye on your fic, please keep me in mind. You helped me quite a bit with the Susan/Delenn piece.
