Rewatch: "River of Souls"

For the record, "River of Souls" ended up as the representative for the movies simply on the account that it was the only movie to get any votes.

So, I hated this movie when it first aired. I still think it's one of the weakest stories in B5, but I don't hate it anymore, so I guess that's something.

Wasn't Martin Sheen supposed to play Bryson originally? I think that might have worked out better. I don't think he doe naive very well. Lochley is much better than I remembered, although isn't she Catholic (Lost Tales)? Wouldn't she believe in Heaven?

More Richard Biggs would have helped. I feel like more of a relationship between Lochley and Franklin is assumed here. He did work under her for a year, but they seem chummier than I would have thought.

Why is Zach still in his Army of Light uniform?

I love Zach and Garibaldi's opposite reaction to Lochley's holo-image. Zach is all affonted loyalty and Garibaldi...'What? Am I supposed to blind myself?'

Not a fan. The only B5 movies I like are Legends of the Rangers because I love the Rangers and In the Beginning because the back story is always interesting to me.

Although the idea of soul hunters is somewhat interesting. But I don't think how it played out here was as good as it could have been.
